TILL DAWN finished behind Johnny Hancocks and Robber Stone at Goodwood but she might be able to reverse the form here. Tony Carroll's filly attracted plenty of support that day but blew her chance with a slow start so, while a sixth furlong would've enhanced her claims, we're hopeful a good draw can see her take a handy position early. From stall 10 Johnny Hancocks has claims as he's a pacey type but he's now 4lbs higher than when second at Goodwood at needs to find a little more to score, with Avalon Bay open to more progress and set to be suited by the likely fast pace. Robber Stone is handicapped to get very close to Johnny Handocks and Till Dawn but has a rather unpredictable profile while Dubai Affair, further back in that Goodwood nursery, is dropped 2lbs and again has claims in a race that should please the handicapper.
