A competitive handicap rounds off the card and Ruman, Attorney, Flying Edge and George The Best form the shortlist with the vote given to Attorney. The selection disappointed last Friday at Goodwood behind Effective, but that race came too quickly for him as he had won only the previous day. The ground was also a bit on the quick side for him, so with conditions in his favour this progressive sort should be capable of redeeming himself, although stall 1 is a slight concern. Ruman is well-drawn and he should be better for the return to this trip after disappointing over 7f last time. He has ground conditions to suit tonight and is respected. Flying Edge has been in consistent form of late and he will certainly give each-way players a run for their money as it is hard to see him being out of the frame. George The Best goes particularly well on this track which seems to suit his style of racing. He ran okay last time but he has been done no favours by the draw tonight. Yashin is in fair form and could be the best of the remainder, but for the winner we return to Attorney.
