In depth
Verdict
Pivotal's Princess is in such good form that she is hard to oppose here with Howards Princess and Brave Bear the pair most likely to chase her home. The selection does have a penalty for her latest success at Doncaster when she narrowly beat Neverletme Go. However, she is clearly going the right way and there looks like there could be more to come from this progressive filly and with the in-form Graham Gibbons in the plate she gets the vote. Howards Princess got off the mark at the ninth attempt at Redcar last time when beating Weakest Link. She did nothing wrong that day but she does not look to have the same progressive profile as our selection and under a penalty she looks worth taking on. Brave Bear took a bump when getting beat at Beverley last time. She is clearly better than that latest effort and with her yard in good form and the booking of Paul Hanagan catching the eye she should be capable of getting competitive. Straffan is a course and distance winner who could go well at a price, but she will need to showed marked improvement from her recent outings and we will stick with the in-form Pivotal's Princess as our idea of the winner.
