PRIMO WAY was slightly disappointing here last time but Linda Perratt's gelding may have found that race coming too soon after his earlier effort at the track just two days earlier and he looks worth chancing on suitably testing ground, getting the vote ahead of Jenny Soba and Rawaabet. The last mentioned has shown improved form over hurdles of late and Tim Vaughan's gelding has to be respected back on the level, especially if he can translate his hurdles form back to the flat. Catherines Cafe is better than recent form suggests but she does not win very often and looks best watched, while Jordan's Light is another that has run better over timber of late and may do better back on the level now. Jenny Soba will have no problems with the underfoot conditions but she may be too high in the weights now following her wins at Beverley and Warwick and preference is for Primo Way.
