Guto has claims on the pick of his form, especially having slipped to a decent mark, but his better form is on a faster surface and a safer option looks to be RAINBOW BAY, who gets the verdict with Obe One rated the pick of the remainder. There is little to choose between Rainbow Bay and Obe One on their running here at the beginning of the month but on the revised terms Tracey Waggott's gelding, a confirmed soft ground performer, is taken to reverse the form. Almost Married faces no easy task giving weight away all round but Jim Goldie's gelding will not mind the underfoot conditions and has to be respected. Nigel Tinkler's Foreign Rhythm is capable but inconsistent and of more interest may be David Barron's Swallow Forest, who is less exposed than most of these. Rainbow Bay has solid claims though and is taken to gain a deserved and overdue success.
