Sandwith looks a good bet to land the nightcap; the list of alternatives is headed by Rothesay Dancer and Raccoon. The selection won well on his first start of the season when he beat Green Lagonda at Ripon. He should come on for the run and with the ground in his favour he is the obvious choice. Rothesay Dancer won over this course and distance last time out so she has obvious claims, but her penalty may just find her out tonight. Raccoon does tend to go well fresh so it was no surprise to see him run a big race on his seasonal bow at Nottingham last time. Kings College Boy is better with cut in the ground, and for the winner we will stick with Sandwith.
