      Verdict

Viewforth landed a bit of a gamble when beating Ice Planet here last week, and can defy a six-pound penalty, with Musiotal, Kings College Boy and Pure Imagination all out to stop him. Viewforth is looking well handicapped these days, having won off a mark of 71 at Beverley two years ago, and so it was no surprise when he came good again here last week after chasing home some decent types over the past two months. He is certainly turning into a course specialist, having now won four times at the Scottish track in all, and a penalty is unlikely to stop him making a bold bid to score again. Musiotal showed signs that he is about to strike form when second to Attorney in amateur company here last week, and should go well in his bid to get losses back. Kings College Boy is a bit better off with the selection after finishing just over four lengths adrift here last time, but he needs things to fall right for him, while Pure Imagination has plenty of weight including his penalty, but won well enough at Chepstow to be considered for a place. Bundy actually beat Viewforth in an apprentice affair here in 2003 and meets the selection on even better terms, so should not be left out despite his recent form, but we shall stay loyal to Viewforth.
