Trinculo lines up in search of a hat-trick and can prevail at the expense of Seven No Trumps, Dunn Deal and Blue Power. Trinculo has suddenly come good, making all twice in the space of 10 days, at Newcastle and Sandown, and in his current mood, should once again take all the beating in this company. At the Esher track last time, he had Seven No Trumps six lengths away, and although the selection did have the run of the race that day, they meet on the same terms, and it is hard to see the latter turning the tables. Of the rest, Dunn Deal does not win much but was third in a handicap here at Hamilton last time, and Blue Power, whose stable is in form at present, has also performed at a slightly higher level. The last duo mentioned could easily take a hand in the finish, but as we know that Trinculo is in form, Dandy Nichols' eight-year-old has the strongest claims of all and can continue winning ways.
