A weak looking opener with Princess Pea, Percipient and Felix The Fox the main contenders with the vote going to the last named. Nigel Twiston-Davies has very few horses in training this time of year so the ones he runs are worth noting. Felix The Frog improved from it¿s racecourse debut to finish fifth in a large field first time over hurdles. Further improvement will see him go close. Princess Pea showed her first real sign of promise last time out and any market moves could prove significant and the same can be said about Percipient who has been running consistently well in better company and in this grade is a danger. But for the winner we return to the unexposed Felix The Frog.
