Verdict

A competitive enough contest here, with Agent Stone, All The Nines, Where's Reiley all last-time winners and Al Mugtareb a recent scorer and for today we will side with WHERE'S REILEY. With a decent effort at this track to his name a positive start, he then got his head in front for the first time at Newcastle last time. This trip looked ideal on that occasion, and he looks well capable of finding enough improvement to defy a 6lbs penalty with the yard flying. Agent Stone wore a first-time visor when scoring at Doncaster earlier in the month, although the headgear is dispensed with tonight. Trip and ground suit and he should be very competitive once again from this mark. All The Nines was an easy Southwell winner last time out in a pretty poor maiden and will find this a fair bit tougher, especially on what will be faster ground, so she has a bit to prove. Mark Johnston's Al Mugtareb won his maiden at Catterick last month before being found out in handicap company at Newcastle. The return to 6f looks likely to be a positive, but preference is for Where's Reiley.
