GOLDEN BISHOP is taken to get it right now back on the level, and Richard Fahey's gelding can see off Rising Force to take this 10f handicap. This trip is ideal for the selection, who won over the distance at Yarmouth in August and was a shade unlucky in running when trying to follow up here last month. An abortive attempt over hurdles has followed, but switched back to the flat and off a mark of 68 he looks the one to beat here. Rising Force won over 11f off a mark of 64 in the early part of this year and starts from 1lb lower here. He has been kept busy over the sticks too during the interim, picking up a race at Stratford in July. This surface suits and he must be taken seriously. Don Pietro returns to this trip for the first time in a while. He has shown form over it before and is weighted to go pretty well although he might just have a little bit too much on his back to get home in front. Claret And Amber is back on a good mark but doesn't convince that he gets this far, Transmission might need a further drop by the handicapper before winning, and with nothing else really appealing we'll take Golden Bishop to score.
