The Evan William's trained ELBISTAN gets the vote in a trick opener for punters with No To Trident and Alfredtheordinary also given chances. The selection has been running consistently in maiden and juvenile contests this season and bounced back for his only real blot to take fourth place of 10 at Ludlow last time. The winner and second in that race have both gone on to score which sets up Elbistan well in this company. No To Trident is rated as the main danger after a fair flat career. He improved from his hurdles debut to land third place against better opposition last time and a repeat of that will have the gelding close. Alfredtheordinary is yet to experience the joys of hurdling but had a fair to moderate flat career recording a win over a mile at Kempton. He won't mind the cut in the ground but has yet to prove fitness. Dancing Marabout is at least improving and found a similar contest much more to his liking last time but failed to make the trip, which he again faces here so Elbistan's form looks to have him best placed to score.
