A few of these are loitering at the doors of the last chance saloon but it may prove worth persevering with Theory who's marginally preferred to Poyle Dee Dee and Siren Sound. John Gosden has hit the target with two of the seven runners that he has sent here this year and his filly has leading claims on BHA ratings. She has raced exclusively over seven furlongs but has shown plenty of speed since being fitted with blinkers and may prove better suited by this trip. Poyle Dee Dee hasn't built on an encouraging debut performance but the booking of Ryan Moore takes the eye and the fitting of a visor may bring about some improvement. She may not have appreciated the cut in the ground last time and is another that could be suited by the step back in trip. Ivory Silk and Linnet Park are players on the pick of their form but of more interest is Siren Sound despite the fact that she isn't an obvious candidate for sprinting. She has twice run poorly over a mile following a fair start to her career but cannot be written off just yet. The market may provide some guide to expectations but Theory has solid claims and is selected.
