RESPLENDENT ACE is suggested ahead of Bluejain and Premier Danseur with the usual caveat regarding the market and Andorn being in place. Bluejain is 3lbs higher than when going close over course and distance under today's pilot and should be involved in the finish again but we're going to take a chance with another hold-up performer in Resplendent Ace. He has also made the frame over course and distance and has the ability to win a race of this nature if everything falls into place. Folio hasn't been in great form lately but is 5lbs lower than when winning over course and distance in April and is worth a second look along with Pharaohs Justice and Andorn. Prince Of Light has dropped a fair way in the weights and could bounce back one of these days but we'd have liked to have seen a little more at Wolverhampton last time and the yard's strongest challenger is probably Premier Danseur who comes into this race on the back of a decent run over a mile here on his first start for a couple of months. He's one of several with realistic claims but it's Resplendent Ace that receives the nod.
