APPLESNAP is predicted to land this prize with Louphole and Fast Freddie likely to cause him most headaches. A combination of a switch to Amy Weaver and first time blinkers seemed to make the difference to Applesnap, as the ex-Irish horse seemed to put it altogether last time out. It is always questionable as to whether headgear can work twice in this fashion but off a helpful handicap mark, we are prepared to take that chance. Louphole is consistent. The handicapper is at least dropping him a few pounds having pegged him in the early 70's for an inordinate amount of time. Fast Freddie has gone close on two recent starts. His yard are in good form and he's sure to be thereabouts again. Muktasb was well beaten on a previous visit here. Norcroft is moderate but tries hard in spite of his predicament. Rosie Says No was well backed last time out and it would be no surprise to see her build upon her recent run at the track as she had had two months off and was not persevered with after meeting interference. Another competitive event but Applesnap might just be ahead of the assessor at present.
