An above average claimer and HARRY UP is the selection with Desperate Dan, Sands Crooner and Mutamared as the most pertinent dangers. Granted, the price on Kevin Ryan's gelding is likely to be short given the booking of a certain Frankie Dettori but he ran a solid race in handicap company last time out and he is always a player when returned to claiming grade. Desperate Dan is something of an enigma. That said, his young rider is one of the better 7lb claimers on the circuit and Andy Haynes' team are in fair nick. Sands Crooner has won seven times on artificial surfaces and is much better on those than on turf. It wasn't so long ago that Mutamared was running at listed level. His connections landed a monster punt on Monday afternoon so the market is watched in order to see if they are reinvesting winnings today. Danzili Bay won an apprentice handicap at Salisbury off a mark of 60 but shouldn't be good enough today on figures. Enodoc won over course and distance in August. Joss Stick is capable though alas, out of form. Harry Up is our call.
