Ceremonial Jade is the selection with Greek Renaissance and Aeroplane as the alternatives. The selection isn't the easiest of rides and requires pinpoint accuracy in delivering a challenge at the right time. His last run on the turf can be safely overlooked as he is a much more realistic proposition on artifical surfaces and backers should not expect to see him until late on in the piece. Greek Renaissance looked a useful prospect when trained by Marcus Tregoning. He continued his further progression last term but was comfortably held on seasonal reappearance. Aeroplane was heavily eased at Royal Ascot and is perhaps better judged on a Haydock third to Appalachian Trail. Viking Spirit hails from a yard in form and needs to leave behind a moderate turf run. Nota Bene is respected as a course-and-distance winner. Came Back is hiked up in class after obliging in five of his last six outings. Starlit Sands won in Group 3 company in France at the back end of last season and is very much one to note in the market. This is a race that could decorate any Saturday card and Ceremonial Jade is our selection.
