Grade 2 hurdles winner Aitmatov will have needed his debut run over fences at Navan a fortnight ago and is likely to do very much better here. CALL THE POLICE hasn't been the most consistent of performers but has still managed three victories and his breeding suggests chasing will be his game. With his stable in unstoppable form, he's given the nod to make a winning debut over the bigger obstacles. Gates Of Rome has been a little unlucky not to have lost his maiden tag over fences and must be a threat while Yes Tom made a promising start over fences behind Four Commanders at Down Royal and is certain to have come on for that effort, his first since April.
