In depth

Verdict

Akatara had no chance behind Thousand Stars at Punchestown on Sunday but earlier form puts her in the picture with her allowances. Glamorous wasn't far behind Pink Coat on her hurdling debut at Cork but beaten 20 lengths when fourth to CASH AND GO at Wexford and it's the winner who is taken to follow up in what should prove an informative event. Spring Heeled just had the better of subsequent winner Jenari at Galway and there is little between the pair again, though Jim Culloty's charge looks a smart recruit and may confirm the form. Rocky Wednesday was a long way behind in that Galway contest and hasn't progressed as expected.
