ON MY OWN gained a comfortable maiden victory in a Thurles handicap on Thursday and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent a quick follow up as this opposition doesn't look as tough. Burnswood won a handicap at Naas a year ago from a 10lb lower mark and, though running well, keeps going up in the weights. Fiery Oscar alternates between hurdles and fences and isn't badly treated over timber while Bay Of Kotor has only raced at the minimum trip and could be suited by the extra. The former holds Black Mac on their recent run at Cork while Short Grass was well supported on his return to action at Fairyhouse and ran well enough to suggest he can figure here.
