An exceptionally competitive start to proceedings, especially for such a moderate prize. TASITIOCHT makes her hurdling debut and her allowance could just see her home. She was surprisingly beaten when attempting a hat-trick of bumper wins at Galway last month but the daughter of Oscar is from the family of Morley Street and Granville Again so jumping was always going to be her game. Oscars Joy made a winning bumper debut and started a short-priced favourite on her hurdling bow at Roscommon but couldn't quite cope with The Colleen Ban. She'll have learnt from that and must be on the short-list along with Defence Of Duress, who has the best hurdling form and should probably have won by now. Sky Pilot has been in fine form on the Flat and has done well enough over timber to suggest he'll be winning soon while the likes of recent bumper winner Moorhill Lad and the improving Fine Presentation are others to consider.
