        Verdict

        A chance is taken that MEGAMUNCH can repeat his earlier run at Ayr when scoring over 5f in soft ground. His chief rivals have all struggled in testing going including Deepest Blue, beaten five lengths in soft ground at Ripon and Twilight Pearl, who was six lengths behind the winner despite finishing runner-up over C&D last month. Lucy Bee won a lower grade race in heavy ground over the minimum trip here in July but Polytrack winner Alexandrakollontai is another who would prefer a faster surface.
