ROUND TWO opened with victories at Naas and the Curragh last May then went to Royal Ascot for the Coventry Stakes where he finished mid-division. He didn't reappear until last month when eventually well beaten in a Listed contest but looks capable of much better and has the race conditions in his favour. Bravery is the obvious danger having competed in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and the French Derby and is taking a massive drop in class. Ashraf has had very little racing and is best watched after finishing a long way last in the Irish Lincoln, despite starting favourite.
