The front-running Protocol hasn't quite been getting home but has only had five starts and should have more to offer. He'll take some catching here but BRONTIDE looks capable of taking him on as he was having his first start since October when attempting to make all over this course and distance in April and only fading in the closing stages. He's on the same mark and looks ready to gain his first victory. Invincible Lia won a Clonmel maiden on fast going but then finished last on her handicap debut at the Curragh when the going was soft. Burma Star, who finished in front of the selection here in April, hasn't made the expected progress but Khabaray ran much better at Leopardstown earlier this month.
