Randall Stevens didn't show much on his debut but put the experience to good use with an eye-catching second to Branch Line at Roscommon and looks a threat. Dermot Weld and Jim Bolger have newcomers to look out for. The former is represented by Firey Speech, who is by Street Cry out of a mare who won between 6f and a mile while the latter has Vocal Response engaged and he should be ideally suited to this trip. Joseph O'Brien's Intricately is out of a mare from the family of Rock Of Gibraltar while Ger Lyons' Brutal cost a whopping £250,000 and is by Pivotal out of a winning miler.
