SCHUBERT is no stable star and is unlikely to repay much of the $1.3m he cost but this is a poor maiden and his overall form should just about be good enough, despite being a beaten favourite in his last five starts. Arch Sting showed some potential last season and on his reappearance at Navan while Aussie Bound ran much better than a 100/1 chance at Tipperary. Ace Of Diamonds has some scope and found 6f too short at the Curragh so he could run into a place.
