In depth

Verdict

ARD AGUS FADA is hardly consistent but scored from just 3lb lower over this C&D in January last year and returned to form at Navan last month. He's on a low enough mark to score again if at his peak. Doc O'Donnell landed a point-to-point at Knockanard in February and has run very well over regulation fences on his two subsequent starts. He can go well while Gaelic Grounds has been finding the going too heavy since completing a double last autumn and can do better in today's conditions. Mountain Lough has jumped a little better on his two latest starts and can make a bold bid if getting his act together and the normally consistent Tiernan's Terror was nowhere near his best when pulling up at Clonmel and can do much better than that.
