Verdict

Rushwee hasn't pulled up any trees since winning an ordinary handicap at Wetherby in January and is probably worth taking on again here. Stapleton is a possibility, however, having finished fourth on his hurdling debut at Towcester and he'll be suited by this longer trip. Tribal Dance has hinted at ability but we'll take a chance on jumping debutant BLACK TOR FIGARRO, who was a stayer on the Flat and is sure to have had plenty of schooling since leaving Brendan Duke to take up residence at Lawney Hill's yard.
