Aidan O'Brien has three entries. The newcomer Sir Perceval is related to a host of winners though will probably do better when tackling further. SOUTH PACIFIC couldn't quite match strides with the well supported Giga White here last month but that looked a strong maiden and the form is starting to work out. Western Australia caught the eye in that latter event and though beaten 7l should get closer. Boston Bruin attracted good support over 6f at the Curragh in June and was only beaten narrowly into fourth so normal progress should see him in the firing-line and he looks better at this stage than stable companion Claim The Lady. Zarafshan is bred for middle-distances and one to note for the future.
Boston Bruin (IRE) 6-1 (9-5) Prominent, disputed 3rd before halfway, soon on terms, narrowly headed over 1f out, kept on without matching principals inside final furlong, 4th of 10, 1 1/4l behind Viadera (9-0) at Curragh 6f mdn gf in Jun.
Claim The Lady (IRE) 5-1 (9-5) Soon prominent and disputed briefly, chased leaders after 1f, 3rd halfway, ridden to challenge 2f out, no impression in 2nd 1f out, kept on same pace, dropped to 3rd closing stages, 3rd of 11, 2 1/2l behind Duckett's Grove (9-5) at Cork 1m mdn gd in Aug.
Gustavus Weston (IRE) Equiano gelding out of Chrissycross.
Larmour (IRE) 33-1 (9-7) Soon in touch on outer, 4th halfway, ridden 2f out, dropped to 6th 1f out, kept on same pace final furlong, 5th of 14, 5 1/4l behind Kestrel Prince (9-8) at Roscommon 7f sft in Aug.
Olympic Honour (FR) Olympic Glory colt out of Shamah.
Pepperoni Pete (IRE) 10-1 (9-5) Rear of mid-division, 8th halfway, ridden under 2f out, kept on well 1f out to 5th final strides, never nearer, 5th of 14, 3 1/4l behind Fulminate (9-0) at Fairyhouse 6f mdn gf in Jul.
Sir Perceval (IRE) Camelot colt out of Silver Star.
South Pacific 9-4 (9-5) Pushed along to soon lead, strongly pressed from over 1f out, soon joined, kept on well, headed near line, 2nd of 11, nk behind Giga White (9-5) at Gowran Park 7f mdn gf in Aug.
Western Australia (IRE) 14-1 (9-5) Pushed along briefly early, soon mid-division, pushed along again before straight, slightly impeded over 2f out, soon switched right and kept on same pace, 6th of 11, 7 1/4l behind Giga White (9-5) at Gowran Park 7f mdn gf in Aug.
Zarafshan (IRE) Shamardal colt out of Zarshana.
