Roibeard has won once in six starts around here but went up a massive 10lb after his victory on the track in July though didn't run badly over a mile at Killarney last time. It's hard to know what to make of Aztec Eagle, who scrambled home in a Cork maiden on testing ground in May and hasn't run subsequently though a mark of 82 may be underestimating his ability. LETHAL POWER (NAP) has been in excellent form all summer, scoring at Roscommon and Leopardstown and making a quick reappearance after a very good run in a much better race than this at the Curragh on Saturday. He can race from the same mark here and looks the one to be on. Beckwith Place won a Tipperary maiden on soft ground in May and didn't reappear until a month ago with a decent effort in a Galway handicap so he should be capable of better.
