Dermot Weld reaches for a visor for Chilled White, who has shown plenty of potential though was staying on over 1m2f at Naas and drops in trip. Tom Madden is one of the more experienced riders here and was on board when FINVARRA ran very well over 7f at Cork where he chased the leaders and stayed on strongly. That was only his seventh start and normal progress can see him gain his first victory. Alpine Pass hadn't shown much before a much improved run on his handicap debut at Killarney so he has to be considered along with Glib Speech, a winner over this trip at Naas before finding an extended 1m1f beyond him on this track.
