Verdict

Hardly a race to get too involved in with only point-to-point runner-up Annie Other having seen a racecourse of any description. Mascherano is bred for the Flat being a half-brother to a winning miler in France while Golanbrook is related to three winners on the level. Spot Fine's pedigree is built on much stouter grounds and he should do better when sent jumping but TOUCH BACK, by Shantou out of a 1m2f winner, should have the necessary pace for this and gets a tentative vote.
