Down Under is the only course-and-distance winner here though he's become a specialist at Kilbeggan and was just beaten there a month ago. He's 13lb higher than his last winning mark though he has the beating of Duckweed on that latest run. The veteran CURRAGH GOLAN had three lengths to spare over Katie Do at Listowel and though the runner-up has a weight advantage the winner should confirm the form and should be difficult to beat. Odit made a successful chasing debut at Downpatrick but was no match for Tocororo at Galway and should find this easier.
