      Verdict

      Richard Hannon won this with Strong Suit last year and Paco Boy in 2008. Libranno isn't in that class and could only manage fourth in last year's renewal but he arrives in fine form. He made all to win the Criterion Stakes at Newmarket last time beating Edinburgh Knight and subsequent Listed winner Majestic Myles and is not easily overlooked. The latter finished behind Firebeam at Haydock back in May when Andrew Balding's charge was runner-up but both that pair and last month's Diomed Stakes third Mac Love have bit to find with CHACHAMAIDEE. She won the Group 3 Oak Tree over C&D at this meeting last season and after a big run over a mile at Royal Ascot last time can return to winning ways here. There's a chance today's trip could prove ideal for the only three-year-old runner, Foxtrot Romeo, as he raced prominently and gave a good account over a mile in both the Irish Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes last time.
