      Verdict

      Bogsnog almost produced a 66/1 shock at Beverley and Linda Stubbs' gelding has to be respected in what looks to be a weak maiden. Soft going may not have suited CRACKING CHOICE at Carlisle, but if the weather isn't too inclement, Michael Dods' colt appears the one to beat. Second on his debut at Musselburgh, he probably faced a thankless task in trying to give 5lb to a winner that has gone on to campaign in Group 3 company since. Done Dreaming is bred to stay further though he was the most expensive of the quintet to go through the sales ring. Mount Seymour has it to do on official figures while Pastoral Prey has placed on two occasions so far, and George Foster's gelding drops back to five furlongs having run disappointingly over six at Hamilton.
