Adoration has bits and pieces of form that suggest he can pick up a race like this and he is the preferred option over Fabrian and Lucayan Dancer. That said, it would not be the biggest shock of the day for Arry Dash to go well now that he has rediscovered what it takes to win a race. He is no forlorn hope for each-way punters to grab a small return. Lucayan Dancer goes well in this type of contest and he will be a popular choice considering the form his stable have been in this week. His rider takes off 7lb with her claim and the partnership should be capable of a bold show. Fabrian is another that is in good enough heart to merit a place on the shortlist. He had been hard to win with until this season but has really got his act together at present. A mark of 67 is far from restricting in this company and he looks sure to capture his share of the betting interest. However, Adoration has marginally the best form on offer and, with Mark Johnston's runners seeming to relish the test of racing on the Sussex Downs, this unexposed gelding looks the safest choice to round off the meeting on a high note.
