It may prove worth siding with Lady Dedlock in a competitive finale. Lapina and Bob's Your Uncle are amongst others to consider. The selection narrowly lost out in a maiden handicap over course and distance last August and didn't gain that all valuable victory until making her seasonal return at Kempton in April. She was impressive that day but is 15lbs higher than when beaten over course and distance and has been absent since winning. On the plus side, she's well drawn, unexposed and quite possibly progressive. Twill is well handicapped on his old form and merits respect as do the likes of Go Amwell, Songmaster, King's Fable and Coda Agency but we'll have a closer look at Lapina and Bob's Your Uncle. Lapina has been well held on two runs this season but it would be no surprise to see her fare better now that she's been stepped up to a more suitable trip. Bob's Your Uncle usually races over shorter but he has made the frame at this trip, he's well handicapped on his best form and the booking of Spencer suggests that a big run is anticipated. Our vote, though, goes the way of Lady Dedlock.
