Head Down is selected from Woolston Ferry and Creshendo. Head Down has the benefit of a run to his name and he didn't fare too badly in finishing fifth at Newbury in a race won by a better fancied stablemate. He has an obvious chance of putting that experience to good use here. Mick Channon's juveniles continue in fine form and it would be no surprise to see a big run from Woolston Ferry, a half-brother to several winning juveniles, at the first time of asking. Ralph Beckett has a decent record with his debutants, particularly when Seb Sanders rides, and Creshendo has to be of interest with Minder and Measurement other debutants of interest. Olaudah Equiano, Black N Brew and Dream City have all shown ability as well but we're happy to take a chance with Head Down.
