Verdict

Master Of Arts can land this with Longevity and Oriental Girl two that could give him something to think about. Neither the selection's draw nor a 12lb penalty are ideal but his trainer is adept at placing his horses and he hasn't had too hard a time of things on either occasion. He was value for a good bit more than the winning margin at Chepstow and will be a warm order to score again. Longevity is one of the more obvious contenders following his win in a maiden at Southwell. That wasn't a strong race though and he was hardpressed to win having hung in the closing stages and he still has a little to prove. Oriental Girl is a less obvious pick but she may be able to build on the form that she's shown to date. Steve Drowne takes the ride for the first time and she has also been fitted with cheekpieces for her turf debut. She's well bred and should improve for this longer trip and could go well at a price but it is hard to see her getting the better of our selection, Master Of Arts.
