Verdict

There should be no shortage of pace in this as several like to lead. Lawn Ranger, the sole course and distance winner, was back to winning ways in a three-horse affair on heavy ground but faces better competition and good going now. Sweet Reward looks on a high enough mark at present and General Lee's sole success came in a maiden, though he is fairly reliable. The choice is ZULU GIRL, seeking a fourth success in five starts, as she defied the handicapper in style last time and can do so again off a 5lb higher mark. Sky Power has only had five runs and latterly scored at Southwell in November. Now with Ralph Beckett, a market check is advised.
