In depth

Verdict

Archie Watson and Brodie Hampson teamed up to win this last year and MENIN GATE won twice under today’s amateur last season. He’ll be sharper for a recent second at Haydock and can go one better in this. Dance King wasn’t far behind the selection last time while Mr Coco Bean is partnered by Serena Brotherton after going close over track and trip and is another to consider. Frankly Mr Shankly is fitted with additional headgear and Sands Chorus won a seller here last month so they look best of the rest.
