    Verdict

There was plenty to like about the way Bay Story stayed on to win at Newbury the other day and he can complete a quick double in this valuable handicap, with Kinrande and Sunday Symphony likely to be his biggest dangers. Mark Johnston's colt has already shown he can handle soft ground, he stays well, and the blinkers also helped at the weekend. Provided their effect is not significantly reduced, he looks capable of defying a penalty to follow up. Kinrande comes here in great form and proved he gets the trip last time. He is unproven on the ground however, and a 4lb rise for his latest win will make it more difficult, but he can make the frame. Chief challenger to the selection may be Sunday Symphony, who ran well at the Royal meeting, and was just held when back at York in similar company last time. He won't be far away, while One To Win comes here seeking a hat-trick, but needs to prove he stays, and that is the gamble if you are thinking of putting the money down. But Bay Story looks a tough sort and can go in again.
