A top class line up for this Group two Betfair Cup, with Trade Fair, Kheleyf and Crystal Castle all having strong claims and we will side with the first named. Roger Charlton's four-year-old travelled strongly and surged into the lead a furlong down to record a decisive victory over some seven furlong specialists at the Curragh last time. The step up to Group two company shouldn't be a problem today and a follow up success looks on the cards. Kheleyf was most impressive when landing the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot before finding the six furlongs too sharp in the July Cup. Back over his favourite distance he will be a tough nut to crack. French challenger Crystal Castle put up a solid display to finish second to Fayr Jag over six furlongs at Ascot last time, but is just as effective over this longer trip and looks certain to play a major role. So Will I may do best of the others but Trade Fair has proved his class in this company and gets our vote.
