        Verdict

        Dorella has the most improvement and, in a race that many would struggle to win a seller, is given the nod ahead of Jodrell Bank and the disappointing Danawi. John Gosden's horse finished third to Madame Medusa in a poor maiden at Yarmouth but at least did show some signs of ability. The daughter of Efisio has a few niggling problems which prevented her running as a two-year-old and minimal improvement should be suffice. Jodrell Bank finished a length of the selection in that Yarmouth event, her first run for over a year. William Jarvis has his team in good shape, but this run comes just ten days after that effort and she may just bounce. Even so, she looks forecast material ahead of Danawi, now on a losing run of nine. She has been tried over various trips and her latest third to Kahlua Bear leaves her looking slow and exposed.
