Minority Report can follow up a recent success over course and distance at the expense of Compton Eleven and Illustrious Blue. Luca Cumani's six-year-old bounced back from a poor run in the Hunt Cup to gain a narrow success from Kalankari, when he displayed a fine turn of foot. This is tougher but with Material Witness likely to ensure a decent pace it should play to the strengths of the selection who can swoop late. Compton Eleven is winless this season on turf but has produced some solid displays at the top level of handicapping. Effective over 7f furlongs and on quick ground, Mick Channon's five-year-old also has the assistance of Ryan Moore, but he may have to play second fiddle once more. Illustrious Blue won a competitive handicap at Goodwood before running a decent sixth to Smart Enough at York earlier in the week. Both races, though, were over a mile and the drop back in trip combined with the faster ground means he will probably have to settle for minor honours.
