Curtain Bluff is fancied to defy top weight at the expense of Border Artist and Keep Bacckinhit. Mick Channon has stated that his four-year-old will run again even though he was due to run at Salisbury on Friday. Thomas O'Brien takes off 7lbs and the son of Dansili is 5lbs better off with Border Artist for his defeat over this at Yarmouth. Any drying of the ground will suit Curtain Bluff and he has to be supported if taking his chance. Jeff Pearce has brought plenty of improvement from the previously disappointing Border Artist. The seven-year-old has a priceless turn of foot but he is on a career-high mark and may find the selection too good. Ryan Moore may have chosen Logsdail over Keep Bacckinhit but the second named has improved steadily this season and has a decent draw to aid him. He could be one for each-way backers.
