Coconut Creme still looked in need of the experience at Beverley and this is a huge step up in class, though she's still engaged in the Ribblesdale. John Gosden has two entries and those who supported Icespire when beaten a short-head at Ascot will be keen to gain compensation as she was undoubtedly unlucky in-running. Elas Ruby also represents the yard and she's a bit more exposed having been beaten in a Salisbury handicap last time. MORI is by Frankel out of the brilliant Midday, who won the Nassau here in 2011. She showed the benefit of her opening run to land what looked a strong Ascot maiden a couple of weeks ago and, with further progress likely, can take the step up in class in her stride before heading to Royal Ascot.
