A low key start to a cracking evening card. Pernickety won in this grade at Brighton on her reappearance and was clear of the rest when second in a better contest at the seaside track subsequently. She’s still at the right end of the handicap so goes on the short-list. Ataman, Kath's Legacy and Ghinia have recent placed efforts to their name and Icebuster also warrants a mention. But BOYCIE has done nothing wrong this year under 7lb claimer Tina Smith. He won at Doncaster last month and subsequent decent efforts at Brighton and Haydock have come in better races than this.
