Expense Claim has made giant strides this year and was very impressive when completing his hat-trick in a competitive handicap at Newbury six days ago. Andrew Balding isn't allowing him to rest on his laurels and he's already won over this trip at Kempton but MICHELANGELO has more scope and can end his winning run here. Inexperience probably cost the latter victory on his debut in a Listed race at Newmarket and the son of Galileo, who has an entry in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot, can make amends today. Jungle Beat and Perennial were fifth and sixth in the Fielden Stakes but, on a line through runner-up Mister Music, look to have little chance against the selection off level weights.
