Lady Rosamunde escapes a penalty for an ultimately comfortable success in a boys' race at Newbury last Saturday and you can't blame Marcus Tregoning for trying to strike while the iron is hot with his filly. She must go close though both her victories so far have come at a lower level. We just prefer FIGARO, who has improved over the winter judged on his comeback second at Doncaster and is worth another try over this longer trip. Woop Woop enjoyed himself on the Polytrack last year and was only beaten half-a-length off his new mark at Kempton in March. He's another to consider if transferring that form to Turf but the likes of Gunslinger, Alshazah, Foxhaven and Stentorian may need this run. Crafty Roberto won over hurdles during the winter and looks best of the rest.
